Prepare Your Glass: If you prefer a salted rim, moisten the rim of a rocks or old-fashioned glass with a lime or orange wedge. Dip the moistened rim into a shallow plate of salt to coat it lightly.
Fill the Glass with Ice: Add ice cubes to the prepared glass. Fill it to your preference, but typically, a Margarita glass is about 2/3 full of ice.
Measure and Add Blanco Tequila: Using a jigger or measuring glass, measure 2 ounces (60 ml) of Blanco tequila. Pour the tequila over the ice in the glass.
Squeeze Fresh Lime Juice: Roll a lime on the countertop to release its juices. Cut the lime in half, and using a juicer or your hand, squeeze 1 ounce (30 ml) of fresh lime juice.
Squeeze Fresh Orange Juice: Roll an orange on the countertop to release its juices. Cut the orange in half, and using a juicer or your hand, squeeze 2 ounces (60 ml) of fresh orange juice.
Add Lime and Orange Juices to the Glass: Pour the freshly squeezed lime and orange juices into the glass.
Stir Well: Take a stirring rod or a long spoon and gently stir the mixture in the glass for about 10-15 seconds. This ensures that the ingredients are well-mixed.
Garnish (Optional): If desired, you can garnish your Brunch Margarita with an orange wheel or twist on the rim of the glass.
